If you haven't been keeping up with all the talk going on over at flickr, we are officially going official by officializing our officialism... officially. Get it? GOOD!
What I'm trying to say is that we are electing officers for our guild. At our meeting on Sunday, we decided to keep it simple and just have a position for President, Social Media crew, and Special Events officer. Each position could have a term of one year, with elections every March.
The President would just be... president. Overseeing it all, helping where needed, and keeping communication with "the mothership". We could also make this a President/Vice President team if there was interest.
The Social Media crew would be in charge of the blog, flickr, and facebook. Making everything pretty and keeping regular updates.
The Special Events officer would be in charge of swaps, get-togethers that aren't the sew-in, and any kind of excuse for a celebration, etc etc.
